Storyline

It is a romantic thriller in which a wannabe filmmaker Sachin Kulkarni from Mumbai falls in love with Jesse , a girl who hails from an orthodox Christian family and whose family would never approve Sachin for their daughter.Jesse too does not want to involve any romantic relationship with Sachin and wants to stay as friends with him. Now, Sachin has to convince both Jesse and her family.

EKK DEEWANA THA is a Hindi feature film which released on 17th February, 2012. It is the Hindi remake of Tamil movie VINNAITHAANDI VARUVAAYAA, and Telugu Movie - YE MAAYA CHESAVE by the same director- Gautham Menon.

Story : Sachin (Prateik Babbar) is a young guy who is very fond of films and wants to become a film maker, film director etc. He falls in love with a girl Jessie (Amy Jackson), whose parents or religion doesn't allow her to watch movies because her parents are from orthodox Malayali Christian background. Though Sachin is BE graduate from Mumbai, he wants to become a film director whereas the nature of Jessie is totally opposite. However they fall in love with each other.
