Storyline
Anwar, a middle-class unmarried Muslim living in Lucknow with his family and does a research on ancient Hindu temples. The family gives the room on rent to a poor widow and her daughter Mahru. Anwar gradually falls in love with Mahru and he is confident of her love on him too. One day, Mahru elopes with a Hindu lover Udit, which proved shocking to Anwar.
