Srijita Ghosh, a Tollywood actress, was fortunate enough to land her debut Telugu film, "Idhe Maa Katha," which starred Bhoomika Chawla, Srikanth, and Sumanth Ashwin and was centred on the trip of a bike rider who travelled from Hyderabad to Manali.

In an interview with Bollywoodmdb, Srijita Ghosh reveals about professional life, her journey, dream role and her favourites actors

SRIJITA’S JOURNEY FROM KOLKATA TO SOUTH TO MUMBAI

When asked about her journey from Kolkata to South and from South to Mumbai, how was your journey, Srijita responded, “When I went to Mumbai, that time for me was very difficult. I had played a character of a kid, earlier, due to which I started getting ads and front there I got an offer for a music video. After getting the offer of a music video, I started getting offers for South movies, and that’s how I came so far.”

SRIJITA ON HER UPCOMING PROJECTS

Srijita was asked about her upcoming projects, she replied, “I am currently working mainly in the South, so I have back to back projects in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada. And in bollywood I had worked in a web series called Uni Ki Yaari, on MX player, and the season 2 will be coming up soon. We're planning on it. Besides that, there are a lot of things on the talking stage in Mumbai and I’m very hopeful of that.”

SRIJITA DISCUSSED ABOUT HER DREAM ROLE

Srijita discussed with us about her dream role, “I want to play every role, different characters, however, since I am a martial art student, so if I get a role where I can showcase my talent of martial arts that’ll be great. Also I love historical period dramas, and I am very much fond of horse riding, you know somewhere like the role of a princess, something related to these if I get to play that’ll be good.”

SRIJITA’S DREAM TO WORK WITH THESE CELEBS

When asked about whom she wants to work with, she replied, “I’d love to play even the smallest role with Ayushmann Khurrana and Pankaj Tripathi sir, they both are my favourites. If your co-actors are experienced, you get to learn alot from them. So I always look upto such roles. So if I get to work with Pankaj sir, I’ll learn a lot from him. And in South there’s only and only one actor who is my favourite, that is Allu Arjun. It would be an honour to work with Allu Arjun sir. It’s my biggest dream.”

SRIJITA WOULD LOVE TO SOLO TRAVEL TO KASHMIR

One place where you’d like to escape to as soon as you finish shooting, to that Srijita shared, “I am a solo traveler, I have almost traveled India, however only Kashmir is left to be explored, I had traveled earlier to Kashmir but that time I was young and I went with my parents, now I want to go alone. There are many other countries I am planning to explore. Every year for once, I’d like to explore places.”

SRIJITA’S UPCOMING MOVIES

The movie "Katha Venuka Katha" will be released in February. Vishwanth Duddumpudi and Ali Sir, a well-known comedian in Telugu films, are her co-stars. In addition to this, Sunil and Satyam Rajesh will also be seen interacting with the actress on-screen. Working with them all on a suspense thriller movie was enjoyable. She appreciated portraying a determined and down-to-earth character.

Her third film, the Kannada film "Usire Usire," holds a very special place in her heart. Kichha Sudeep and Rajeev Hanu, two well-known actors, star in this film. She is portraying a Muslim character in the narrative, which is based on a love story between Hindus and Muslims. It will convey a message about unadulterated love to the audience.

"Irra Gurri," her fourth film, will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malyalam, the four official South Indian languages. The movie is about the superstitions that a girl kid is a curse and that all losses are borne by the family as a result of the birth of the girl child, and Srijita is portraying a country girl in the part.
