Nikita Rawal an actor, dancer and producer is loved by thousands and thousands of fans on her social media. She is also a humanitarian and has garnered recognition for the same. Bollywoodmdb had the pleasure to sit down for a chat with her where she shared how she turned to social work. Nikita said, “it is my mother”, who has inspired her to give back to society and help those in need. She also started her foundation named ‘Aastha’ in 2010 to support her desire to give back.

Living in the city of Mumbai all her life she came to love its people. Urging everyone to partake in giving back when they can by being compassionate. She shared how much she values her foundation's work. When asked about what advice she would offer to newcomers in the industry. She said clearly, “you have to work hard”. She explained how only after pushing yourself day in and day out will achieve your dreams.

Not too long ago, Nikita spoke up about a horrifying incident where she was held at gunpoint. Shedding light on the incident she said “I have courage, courage to speak up”, she added “even if I was raped. I would speak up so that it does not happen to someone else.” With s brave face she explained how, when she was travelling back from an event in Delhi she was in a car and suddenly, on the wrong route she was stopped at gunpoint. Horrified by recalling the incident she shared how much worse it could have been and how around that time the Nirbhaya incident had occurred. Saying “what if it was me”. She explained how important it is for someone to speak up and go to the police as she did. On a larger scale, sharing your experience will save someone else.

During the same conversation, Nikita was asked who is her inspiration. She said how she looks up to the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His speeches and work for the country are commendable and hence she looks up to him. Coming to her upcoming work. Nikita informed that her work ‘Grey is a colour’ is currently streaming on ZEE. Following which, she will soon be seen by fans essaying the role of a doctor on Hotstar. Also, she has a film with Arshad Warsi which will be released at the end of September. Lastly, she has a music video titled ‘Shy Shy Dil’ that will be released after the lovely festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.
