Exclusive: Sara Khan Reveals Facing Trouble Shooting Romantic Scenes With Her Co-Star For ‘The Era Of 1990’; Shares Her Marriage Plans

Sara Khan is one of the most popular faces in the television industry. She has been a part of a number of daily soaps and reality shows including 'Bigg Boss' and 'Lock Upp'. Sara Khan who has also acted in Bollywood films is going to return to the big screens after an eight-year absence with a film titled 'The Era of 1990'. The story is based on the global piracy of Bollywood films in India. She will be sharing screen space with Arjun Manhas. In an exclusive chat with BollywoodMDB, Sara spoke briefly about her film.

Sara Reveals Facing Difficulty While Shooting Romantic Scenes

Sara Khan spoke about the difficulties she faced during the shooting of the film. Arjun, the male lead in the film who is very fair in real life is given a dark-skinned look in the film. Talking about it, Sara said, “We had trouble doing romantic sequences. While doing a romantic scene, the colour which was used to make his skin dark would come off on my hand or face. Otherwise, Arjun had faced some difficulty while doing the action scenes.”

Sara And Her Wedding Plans

Sara is dating pilot and restaurateur Shantanu Raje. When asked about her wedding plans with him, the actress revealed, “We’ll let you know soon about our wedding plans. I can’t speak about it alone, I’ll tell everyone about it when we are together.”

Sara and Shantanu met through mutual friends about three years ago. Yet, things only began to take off a year and a half ago. Though the pair have been dating for a long time, they did not discuss it until they were absolutely sure of their relationship.

The film 'The Era of 1990' is set to be released on March 17, 2023. The film is produced by Jagjeet Singh and Shahid Kazmi under the labels Shahid Kazmi Productions and H.S. Rissam Pictures. The film, directed by Shahid Kazmi, focuses on how online piracy impacts the Bollywood business.
