Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise will be doing stunts in the space for an upcoming project, stated a recent report by Mirror.co.uk. If this happens to be true, then the 60-year-old Cruise will become the first person from earth to achieve the feat.

From what we hear, the actor will be flown into space before disembarks from the rocket. The entire phenomenon will be recorded on camera for the project.

As of now, not much is known about the project. Tom Cruise will reportedly play a jinxed guy who later finds that he is the only person on Earth who could save the planet from doom.

While Cruise has done a lot of amazing things in his cinematic career- from scaling steep cliffs to jumping down from the tallest building in the world, the spacewalk for him (as well as his fans) will definitely be the most thrilling of it all.

On work front, Cruise recently reprised his role as Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in Top Gun: Maverick (2022), a film which he also executive produced.

The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival where Cruise earned an Honorary Palme d'Or. It was released to widespread critical praise, with many reviewers deeming it superior to its predecessor.

Top Gun: Maverick also broken several box office records upon its release; earning over $1 billion, becoming the highest-grossing film of Tom's career.
