The hit American comedy - drama F.R.I.E.N.D.S. may have been a 90s phenomenon, but its popularity hasn't faded. As interest in the tv series continues to grow, new trends try to eat into its popularity. A new camera filter has been released that can transform you into your favourite celebrity. Courteney Cox even tried it.

Cox decided to have some entertainment with the viral trend after Instagram created an unusual filter that enables fans to channel their inner Chandler or Rachel. She wasn't impressed with the outcomes, calling it "one of the worst apps I've ever seen."

“Really? "I don't look like (David) Schwimmer," Cox said, imitating his tone as she tried the filter that transformed her into Ross. “Hi! "How you doin'?" she asked, imitating Joey's famous pickup line. "Oh, it looks nice with an earring." Alternatively, two."

Then she became perplexed because she couldn't tell who the next personality was — her Monica or Jennifer Aniston's Rachel. "Oh hello," she laughed, perplexed by how her face looked with the filter. "Who is he?" Is that you, Monica? I'm not sure. Rachel?”

"Is that you?" Okay, I believe my brows are a little different... Rachel? "Hmm, I don't buy it," she said as she continued to run the viral filter. And after a few attempts at determining who was who, she concluded: "This is the worst mouth of anyone, so it's not Jennifer or Rachel because she has a gorgeous mouth." Finally, distraught, she said, "I feel terrible about myself, bye."

People were divided online after watching the video, which received over 4 million views. While many people thought it was horrifying, they were thankful the actor tried it. "Courteney Cox is single-handedly managing to keep the Friends fandom alive and well," one fan wrote, while another said, "I don't know whether to laugh or be scared."
