The King's Man to debut in Indian theatres on December 31

Filmmaker Matthew Vaughn’s much-awaited upcoming directorial The King's Man is set to arrive in Indian cinemas on December 31, 2021. Based on a screenplay by Vaughn and Karl Gajdusek, the film is a prequel to the hugely popular Kingsman film franchise, which is based on the comic book The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons.

The spy drama has been delayed multiple times due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will be finally out in theatres soon. 20th Century Studios is releasing the film in India.

The Kingsman franchise, one of the most popular action movie franchises of the past decade, started in 2014 with the release of Kingsman: The Secret Service and its 2017 sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

The plot synopsis by 20th Century Studios, reads: “As a collection of history's worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency.”        

The King's Man boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Ralph Fiennes, Tom Hollander, Gemma Arterton, Harris Dickinson, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Daniel Bruhl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.
