Priscilla Presley recently participated in a question-and-answer session in Las Vegas, providing insights into her life and decisions following her marriage to Elvis Presley from 1967 until 1973. Priscilla promised not to marry again as long as Elvis was alive, and she stated why during the occasion.

Priscilla Persley said that she feared Elvis would be unable to endure her remarriage, and this pledge remained unbroken even after his death in 1977. "To be honest with you, I never wanted to marry after him," she said. I never had any ambition, and no one could ever compete with him."
The couple chose not to have any further children after having a daughter named Lisa Marie Presley in 1968. Priscilla went on to say, "Elvis felt he had a very busy schedule, and he did have a bit of guilt that he wasn't around that much when Lisa was younger," she said. "With his scheduling and his touring, he just felt he wasn't around enough to give a lot of attention to having another child."
Priscilla spoke with British writer Piers Morgan separately about the tremendous impact Elvis' abrupt death had on her life. She distinctly remembered Elvis's road manager, Joe Esposito, breaking the news to her over the phone. It was impossible for her to comprehend Elvis, who was still young and full of plans, being gone. Her main concern was how to tell their nine-year-old daughter, Lisa.
Priscilla also revealed what first drew her to Elvis. They initially met in 1959 at a party in West Germany, when she was 14 and he was 24. She praised his compelling personality and his acute sense of humour. She recalled a time when he noticed a woman checking cars at a Memphis dealership.
In a spontaneous gesture of goodwill, he bought her a brand-new blue Cadillac. Priscilla emphasised Elvis's compassionate character, claiming that he would help anyone in need, whether it was with money or by covering medical expenditures for people who couldn't afford it.

Their love tale has been adapted for the big screen in Sofia Coppola's new film ‘Priscilla’. Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi feature in the film. Priscilla commended Coppola for her candid portrayal of her life with Elvis and her willingness to dive into their relationship's ups and downs.
