‘Barbie’, a movie directed by Greta Gerwig, has caused a stir in theaters not just in Hollywood but also in India. The feminist message in the Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling movie was well-liked by some people, but the plot disappointed others. The latter group includes Mira Rajput, the wife of Shahid Kapoor. ‘Barbie’ was recently seen in theaters by Mira Rajput. She compared Bollywood with Hollywood, saying that Bollywood's dance numbers were much superior than Hollywood's, in her brief review of the movie.

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were photographed in the same shot while appearing to sing and dance together while donning sparkling attire against a pink-lit backdrop reminiscent of the ‘Barbie’ movie.

Social media users started mocking Mira Rajput for her ridiculous comparison of Hollywood and Bollywood shortly after she made the statement. One Reddit member defended ‘Barbie's dancing routine by writing, "I mean I don’t think anyone’s even comparing Bollywood dances to the Hollywood ones? It’s like getting outraged for no reason. Also, this dance sequence was actually super cute. You don’t always need complicated dance steps… it’s about having fun while they were in this song.”

"Just let her be. She gets so much attention for what?? She just married a celebrity. It's not a big deal. She is delusional I agree. But her opinions don't matter," slammed another user. "What are her qualifications? Being someone's wife?" questioned a third Redditor sarcastically.

On July 21, ‘Barbie’ debuted in theaters alongside Christopher Nolan's war film ‘Oppenheimer’. The movie ‘Openheimer’ is based on the life of Robert J. Oppenheimer, known as "the father of the atomic bomb." Both movies quickly became the topic of conversation, resulting in a meme fest and a "Barbenheimer" trend on social media. ‘Barbie’ has performed better at the box office in the US than ‘Oppenheimer’, which has seen record-breaking success in India.
