As per the news, Renner's accident happened on January 1 after he tried to eliminate a family member's car stuck in the snow. His snow plow ran him over and unsympathetically injured him. He received a blow to the chest and suffered from orthopaedic problems. Renner underwent two surgeries.
His family issued an official statement confirming his surgery after his snow ploughing accident. Their statement included that his health is currently critical but stable and said, "We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition."
