The Friends fame Jennifer Anniston recently joined an online portal for a chat where she made some shocking revelations. Jennifer shared her struggles as the actress is going through a sleeping disorder of insomnia.
She gave insights about her life and how it affected her, 'I dread spending another night counting cracks in the walls,' said the Morning Show actress. 'I think it started somewhere in my 30s or even earlier, but you just don't start to notice the effects of a lack of sleep when we're younger because we're so invincible.'
Further, she added, 'It began as something that I would just accept and then all of a sudden you realize the effects of your lack of sleep and how it affects your day and your work and your mind function and your physique.' She also stated that worrying is the main cause of all of it, “And the more I worry about it, the harder it is to fall asleep.”
Apart from insomnia she also admitted to sleepwalking in the past, though the actress is taking medical help it got extremely difficult for her to stay healthy. Due to lack of sleep, she was unable to exercise and have a proper meal as her body clock was not in sync.
Former Friends alum is now a part of a new initiative called Seize the Night and Day, where people can get news and advice on how to cope with their own sleep problems. She also advised people to take proper medications and a good night routine to relax the mind and body. One thing is for sure the resilient actress is not ready to give up on achieving a better and healthy lifestyle.
