Marvel Studios is now preparing for the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in order to honour Chadwick Boseman. In the US, the movie is anticipated to have a record-breaking opening weekend. Two weeks prior to its November 11 release, India has now started accepting reservations for the next sequel.

In a statement released on Friday ahead of Diwali celebrations, Marvel India said, "Breaking News: Wakanda has once again opened its doors to the world! Black Panther: #WakandaForever, from Marvel Studios, is currently accepting reservations in advance.

Recently, Black Panther sequel director Ryan Coogler talked about how the original script was developed for Chadwick Boseman and what it looked like. After Marvel decided against recasting Black Panther, the director and co-writer Joe Robert Cole revised the script following the actor's passing in 2020 after a fight with cancer. The Hollywood Reporter was informed by Coogler that "the story we created before Chadwick passed was very much entrenched in T'Challa's POV." It was a sizable film that was a character study that focused on his situation and mental state at the same time.

According to Wakanda Forever producer Nate Moore, "The Black Panther has lived in Wakanda for generations, so the concept of someone else picking up the mantle didn't feel inorganic." However, when that had to actually happen, the question became, "OK, what makes the most sense for the story? Who genuinely has the best chance of winning this battle?

Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong'o, Florence Kasumba, and Martin Freeman are among the cast members of the action-adventure film directed by Ryan Coogler.
