As the final ride's closing time draws near, Marvel Studios surprised fans with a brand-new trailer. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 by renowned filmmaker James Gunn is the trilogy's final installment and the director's final work for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 team returns in the latest trailer from James Gunn, but there are a few changes to note. For example, Zoe Saldana's Gamora is still not the same Gamora who, much to Chris Pratt's Star-dismay, Lord fell in love with him.
Star-Lord opens the video by reminiscing about his love for Gamora and how she has changed for the worse. Gamora was slain by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, for those who are unaware. She did, however, come back, but not as the same Gamora who had made friends with the Guardians; instead, she is from another timeline. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has, to the delight of fans, a new foe in the form of High Evolutionary, fresh threats, and Rocket's past in addition to the potential for a renewed romance amid much fighting. In the comics, the High Evolutionary is described as being obsessed with creating the "ideal" monster, which drives him to kidnap and modify creatures from all over the galaxy. We shall be taken back in time to meet Rocket as a baby raccoon because the enemy seems to be tied to Rocket.
The James Gunn-directed "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" features Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, and Vin Diesel. It also features the debut of Will Poulter's Adam Warlock. On May 5, 2023, the third installment will be released in theatres.
