Kanye West has been quite a topic of discussion for the past few weeks following his separation from Kim Kardashian.
On Saturday, one of Ye’s teammates has confirmed to Variety that he has been dropped from the Grammy lineup, well this news definitely didn’t raise any eyebrows considering his online attack on Noah! News of the ban began circulating Friday night, about two weeks before the awards show is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas.
Insiders say the Awards show is “unfortunately” taking this position “due to what they deem to be concerning online behavior.” Plus, Kanye’s recent ban from Instagram didn’t help the situation.
For the unversed, the rapper was suspended temporarily on Instagram for his racial slur towards Noah, who is hosting The Grammy’s event. Kanye responded to Noah after he addressed the rapper’s split from ex-wife Kim Kardashian. “I’ll be honest with you — what I see from the situation is a woman who wants to live her life without being harassed by an ex-boyfriend or an ex-husband or an ex-anything,” Noah said.
The 44-year-old artist received five nominations for this year’s ceremony, including Best Rap Album and Album of the Year for 2021’s Donda.
