Ellen DeGeneres pens down an emotional note as she completes the final episode of The Ellen Show

Former Ellen employees claimed that the talk show instilled a hostile workplace, which made headlines in 2020. Following the accusations, DeGeneres issued sincere apologies, and the TV series underwent significant backstage changes. DeGeneres announced last year that season 19 of The Ellen Show would be the final season. She stated at the time that the decision was not motivated by the scandal.

The well-known tv host, on the other hand, has now stepped down. DeGeneres confirmed on Twitter that the final episode of The Ellen Show has already wrapped. In her message, DeGeneres mentioned how much has changed since the show's beginnings. Ellen's series finale will air on May 26th, and the tv host has expressed her gratitude to her viewers.

Meanwhile, on Thursday's episode of her talk show, DeGeneres celebrated the 25th anniversary of her past sitcom's memorable coming-out episode. "Look at me now," DeGeneres said, reflecting on her ordeal. DeGeneres wasn't the only one to appear out as gay on April 30, 1997; her persona on ABC's hit show Ellen did well too. The Puppy Episode was recorded in front of a live crowd at the time.
