Sophie Turner reportedly confided in her ex-sister-in-law, Priyanka Chopra, before unfollowing her on Instagram. It was reported earlier this month that the two had unfollowed one another on the social media network following Sophie's contentious divorce from Joe Jonas.

"They used to be so close," Life & Style said. "They confided in each other, called each other sissy, and now Priyanka's allegiance lies with Joe and husband Nick."

Sophie sought advice from Joe's ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, after their divorce in September. Taylor was seen having dinner with Sophie in New York City, and she allegedly lent Sophie her Tribeca apartment while she worked out a temporary custody agreement with Joe for her daughters, Willa, three, and Delphine, fifteen.

"Divorcing Joe has forced Sophie to cut people out of her life," according to a second insider, who added that one of them is Priyanka. "She's cleaning house."

How did Sophie and Joe’s divorce affect Priyanka?

According to previous reports, Priyanka was particularly devastated by Joe and Sophie's divorce. "Sophie and Joe separated a lot of their friends, but a few are caught up in this mess," a source told Life & Style at the time. "She and Sophie were very close."

"There was once a time Sophie thought she and Joe would move to London, and so would Nick and Priyanka," the source went on to say. "Priyanka loves Sophie and her nieces and doesn't want to do anything to jeopar­dize their being in her life."

In an interview with Elle in 2019, Priyanka remarked, "I've never had a sister, so it's really nice to have Danielle and Sophie, and just inheriting the family by proxy."
