Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson will feature together in ‘Red One’ for Amazon Studios
Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson will soon be seen in Red One by Amazon Studios. The plot of the film is not yet revealed, but it is said to be based on an original story by Hiram Garcia, president of production at Seven Bucks.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be an action-adventure comedy. Amazon Studios surpassed other bidders for the film, and it will be produced by Hiram Garcia, Dany Garcia, Johnson, and Morgan, who will share producer credits.
Jake Kasdan will direct and produce this film with his production company, The Detective Agency, with the help of Melvin Mar and co-producer Sky Salem Robinson. Chris Morgan will write the script for the film, which will reunite Kasdan, Dwayne Johnson and Seven Bucks Productions after their collaboration on Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2017).
On the work front, Chris Evans will be seen in The Grey Man by the Russo Brothers and the film will be released on Netflix. We will also hear the actor's voice in the film, Lightyear for Pixar as he will be the voice actor for Buzz Lightyear.
