Andrew Garfield ready to take break from acting :I need to just be a bit ordinary for a while
The Mainstream actor in an interview with online portal announced that he will go on a break as soon as he wraps shooting for a TV limited series Under the Banner of Heaven. The actor has been going on and on for the past year or so with “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” and “Tick, Tick … Boom!” and now it’s time for him “to rest for a little bit,”
He further elaborated, “I need to recalibrate and reconsider what I want to do next and who I want to be and just be a bit of a person for a while. Because as you know, that is a washing machine, that awards season. I need to just be a bit ordinary for a while.”
Considering the fact, that he also lost his mother Lynn to pancreatic cancer in 2019, shortly before he began filming for his Oscar-nominated role in “Tick, Tick… Boom!”. It is understandable for the actor to want to feel like an ordinary human being.
