The Terminator 2 will release in 3D & here are 5 reasons why you should book the tickets!
Experience the cult-classic action movie in 3D and Dolby Audio, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton & Robert Patrick!
We know, we know, you might have watched this movie ñ number of times and still feel the urge to re-watch it after some point of time. The Terminator 2: Judgement Day is really the action flick which still stands its cult status. And for those die-heart fans, it is good when makers of Terminator would be a re-mastered theatrical print of movie and re-releasing it in 3D. Though must have watched it at least dozens of time, here are more reasons you can opt to watch and experience real grittiness of the action flick of the century.
Most of the films, till 1998 were shot in traditional cameras that used to give almost square shaped screen resolution which was good back then but now most of the theatre screens chose rectangular wide screens to show films. With Terminator' remastered version, you can actually see the film in wide shots. Plus color correction would also be on point.
Though, we are not saying background score for the old version was any bad! But taste and preferences of audiences has changed and only evolved. Hence makers have also up the level of background score and also added some new queues in the background. Plus it would be also adapted to Dolby Sound standards, depending upon the theatre you chose to experience it.
It wouldn't be an overstatement if we say, Terminator 2 Judgement Day was the ultimate shot for James Cameron' legacy! And why not, he painted characters so right, that they just can't be replaced or re-done by any other actors. Silent, stoic but savage Arnold Schwarzenegger as Terminator or T-800 (Model 101), Femme Fatale and cine certified badass Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connors, furious intimidating and equally heinous Robert Patrick as the T-1000 Aka Mercury Man. Each character set a nostalgic notch in our head, which cannot be replaced by anything.
No, we are not pulling your emotional gears to make you go watch the movie in 3D in theatres. But, the sheer excitement we felt when Terminator and Mercury Man were racing towards John Connor to kill him and Terminator to save him. Or the conversations between Terminator and John when he was trying to teach the robot human lingos to better adapt in human territory. And more of such nostalgic moments make it so epic, making it so immortal. And it was released in 1991, like 26 years ago, are you feeling old by any chance?
You saw it coming, didn't you? There are so many so scenes in the movie which simply blew our minds when we saw it the first time and amazed us as for how they did this. Some of the epic scenes like a multi axel utility truck flies into the flood-control channel, cop clearing scene from the police headquarters or taking the bullet out with glove-less hand. Such scenes would pose a different experience in watching it in 3D.
Still, there are many reasons why you can book tickets for the film and experience the action packed nostalgia in 3D. The 3D version of Terminator 2, along with its Hindi version will be releasing on, 25th August and it would be availed theatre near you!
