Samantha Ruth Prabhu was ecstatic after receiving positive reviews for Yashoda, her debut pan-Indian movie. Shaakuntalam, Samantha Prabhu's upcoming Telugu movie, is currently the focus of her attention as it prepares for its February 17 release. Sam demonstrated that "less is more" at the trailer launch event by dressing simply but elegantly. Samantha Ruth Prabhu wore a pale embroidered silk organza saree with a large and enchanting border for the Shaakuntalam trailer launch yesterday.
The feather-light Devnaagri saree had intricate cutwork all throughout. The scalloped border, which would make you think of old-time Bollywood heroines, was the focal point of the organza garment. Pallavi Singh styled the Oh Baby actress, who wore a traditional drape with a plunging ivory silk shirt. Sam made care to keep it simple in order to add a regal touch to the light sari, which cost Rs 48,500.
Speaking about her makeup, it was kept simple by Avni Rambhia and included a base, loads of compact powder, pink cheeks, and mascara. She wore no accessories and had open hair in beachy waves.
Based on the well-known Kalidasa drama Shakuntala, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will play Shakuntala, while Malayalam actor Dev Mohan will play Dushyanta. Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla, Mohan Babu, and Gautami will play supporting roles.
