On a wet Tuesday in Paris, Chanel designer Virginie Viard debuted a relaxed, warm-weather collection. Models strutted down the runway in sandals and flashy spectacles, displaying a vibrant palette of skewed styles.

The audience, which included Usher, Penelope Cruz and Jennie Kim from Blackpink, was sat in box-like rooms with enormous windows that allowed views of life-size murals depicting the gorgeous hills of the French Riviera.

Paris Fashion Week : Virginie Viard's collection blossomed as a sun-soaked tribute to the villa's gardens.

Ok take a moment! Capturing the season's vibrant palette and airiness, the CHANEL Spring-Summer 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection featured multicolored metallic tweed skirt suits adorned with iridescent threads, sequin-striped pockets, golden braids, and stained-glass sequin embroidery reminiscent of the sunken gardens at Villa Noailles in the south of France. Get a glimpse here!

CHANEL rocked the presentation in a brilliant shade of pink tweed beautifully woven with a whimsical black and white windowpane check pattern, seamlessly don a mock-neck, long-sleeved dress!

In the Spring-Summer 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection, a collarless coat fashioned from striped cotton towelling takes center stage in a vivid neon rainbow hue beautifully juxtaposed with the timeless CHANEL black and white. This short jacket features a waffled silken placket that beautifully splits the design and is embellished with a chic bow, evoking a harmonic blend of elegance and sophistication. To finish the style, neoprene mini shorts are coupled with flat plush slides, resulting in an outfit that radiates a refreshing and easygoing sense of elegance.

The essence of this collection lies not in dramatic novelty, but in its accessibility. One notable aspect is the inclusion of medium-sized models, a relatable and symbolic choice that reflects Virginie Viard's clear intent to connect Chanel with a more diverse and inclusive audience. By aiming to make Chanel relatable, Viard is not just getting around, but transforming the brand's place in the fashion scenery.
