Schiaparelli, a historic couture label, debuted their Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2023 collection as the opening act of Paris Couture Week. Star-studded attendees included Kylie Jenner and Doja Cat, who sat in the front row wearing avant-garde ensembles by Daniel Roseberry that were evocative of the founder Elsa Schiaparelli's creations.
Doja made a stunning appearance in a crimson outfit with her entire face and body painted red and embellished with crystals, while Kylie opted for a black dress coupled with a fake 3D lion head. Kylie Jenner and Doja Cat went to the Schiaparelli Haute Couture presentation in Paris on Monday (IST). At the event, Kylie and Doja both turned heads in outfits that unquestionably stole the show.
Making a statement in the front row, Kylie wore a long dress made of ruched black velvet and accessorised with a massive 3D lion head. The fake artwork covered most of her body and was affixed like a corsage. She completed the animal-inspired style with gold earrings, a snakeskin clutch, and toe-cap heels.
With dramatic glam choices including on-trend brows, glossed cocoa lips, subtle eye shadow, deep cheekbone rouge, winged eyeliner, mascara on the lashes, dazzling highlighter, sharply contoured face, and a sleek up-do, Kylie completed the look.
Doja Cat, a vocalist, broke down barriers by fusing fashion and art. She wore red to the performance and was there with Kylie. She styled her red dress by painting herself from head to toe in red paint embellished with red crystals. The outfit featured a corseted bodice and a crimson beaded skirt. The finishing touches included jewelled earrings, a satin floor-sweeping cloak, high boots, and hanging earrings.
Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain, Ruth Wilson, and Diane Kruger were among those present at the event. Models entered the runway wearing terracotta pencil skirts, shield-like wooden bodices, leopard heads on dresses, painted gold faces, bare painted gold torsos, and other highlights from the collection.
