Deepika Padukone shows off her new hairdo in a recent short video
After riding high on the success of Gehraiyaan (2022), Deepika Padukone undergoes a makeover as she cuts her hair short. A video of Deepika with her fresh haircut and a new hair colour is creating ripples on social media.
Despite the fact that Deepika hasn't updated her Instagram, a video of her at the salon has been making the rounds on social media. The actress can be seen in the video with her hairstylist, beaming with delight at her new look.
On the professional front, Deepika was most recently seen in Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan. Apart from her, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa played crucial roles in the film. Gehraiyaan is a complex story about love and betrayal, but in its effort for depth, it becomes a little too dense. Alisha (Deepika Padukone) and Zain (Siddhant Chaturvedi), the film's key characters, both have emotional baggage from childhood trauma. Alisha comes from a dysfunctional home and is still haunted by her past. Zain, on the other hand, is engaged to Tia (Ananya Panday), Alisha's cousin, and also comes from a damaged home. The two bond over their prior experiences, and a heady period of love consumes them until reality sets in.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Deepika has four films in the works right now: Fighter, Pathaan, The Intern, and Project K. Yesterday, Deepika Padukone posted the teaser for Pathaan, a film starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. After a four-year absence, SRK will return to the big screen in Siddharth Anand's film. Pathaan is scheduled to hit theatres on January 25th, 2023.
