Deepika Padukone attends the TIME100 Impact Awards with her husband Ranveer Singh

Deepika Padukone was awarded the TIME100 Impact Awards yesterday in Dubai, and photos and videos from the event have gone viral on social media. In a stunning ensemble, the actress did attend the award show at the Museum of the Future with her husband, Ranveer Singh. She started walking the red carpet in a glittering sheer saree and correlating embellished blouse, accessorized exquisitely. Deepika endorsed the ethnic sartorial statement for the special occasion with her outstanding and graceful style, while also adding a modern twist.  Deepika shares behind the scene picture:

Deepika took to Instagram on Monday night to share pictures and videos of herself having arrived at the Museum of the Future to visit the TIME100 Impact Awards. In one of the clips, she conveyed her enthusiasm at having arrived at the awards night while also admitting that she was nervous. It is also the star's second time visiting the TIME awards.

For the occasion, the actor wore a sheer pearl white saree. The six yards are embellished with intricate floral threadwork, sequined ornaments, embroidered Patti work on the borders, and a floor-sweeping pallu with white feather tassels.

Meanwhile, Ranveer wore a red bandhgala sherwani with front button-up details, churidar pants, embroidered mojaris, tinted sunglasses, a sleek watch, and earrings to Deepika's special night. He completed the appearance with a back-swept hairstyle and a well-groomed beard.
