Bhumi Pednekar is an absolute 'firecracker' in this Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation
Bhumi Pednekar is one of the most promising young talents in the industry. With power-packed performances in films like Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017) and Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitaare (2020), Bhumi has proved her mettle as an actress.
Not just films, Pednekar is also a fashionista who loves to experiment when it comes to clothes. From a basic jeans tee to a cocktail gown to a bodycon dress- she has the flair to rock each outfit with aplomb.
Recently, Bhumi hosted a Diwali bash which was attended by a plethora of A-listers viz. Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan, Nysa Devgan, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao, Rhea Kapoor and designer turned actress Masaba Gupta. While the attendees were at their sartorial best, it was Bhumi's exotic looking Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla ensemble that made her the best dressed at the party.
The couture ensemble, in the most beautiful fusion of brown, pink, magenta and red, is simply dream-like. The V-neck choli has a strap detailing in front, with sequin detailing in geometric pattern. The lehenga, on the other hand, featured vertical patterns in magenta, pink, orange and light purple.
However, the highlight of the outfit is the dupatta featuring a zari border embellished with bandhej work. It was also laced by triangular tassels in myriad shades, further complimenting the outfit.
Bhumi accessorised her ethnic dress with some colourful tribal enamel jewellery. She also wore lots of oxidised silver bangles and two statement rings. There was also a golden braid piece featuring ornate, vintage designs.
For her Diwali bash, the Durgamati (2021) actress was styled by Rhea Kapoor, who was also present at the party alongside hubby Karan Boolani and designer Sandeep Khosla.
Bhumi also took to Instagram to share a collection of pictures in the outfit. "Last night was #diwali," she wrote.
On work front, Bhumi Pednekar will next feature in Shashank Khaitan's comedy flick 'Govinda Naam Mera', alongside Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani. She will reteam with Rajkummar Rao for Anubhav Sinha's thriller 'Bheed'.
Besides, Pednekar will play a police officer in the upcoming thriller 'Bhakshak', and star alongside Arjun Kapoor in the 'The Lady Killer'.
