When it comes to Wedding Lehengas, the Indian Film Industry is without a doubt the most popular source of inspiration. Our Actresses get to wear it all, from designer cuts to hand embroidered. Indian designers are on par with any other high-end designers in the world, and they certainly excel in designing wedding gowns for our beautiful Bollywood divas. Nowadays, brides are ditching traditional red lehengas and opting for pastel lehengas for their Big day. Pastel dresses have been popular for a long time, and we adore these Bollywood brides who wore pastel lehengas instead of red on their wedding day. Pastel wedding gowns are not only light and airy, but they also exude charm and grace.

Anushka Sharma

Ever since Anushka Sharma chose a pastel bridal lehenga for her wedding, she raised the bar higher each year and brides started wearing pastel lehengas for their D-day. The PK (2014) actress opted for a pretty pastel pink lehenga by the ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Hand-embroidered Indian lotus patterns were combined with European flora and fauna in Anushka Sharma's soft blush pink silk lehenga. Pink rhinestones were also strewn around the lehenga. Silk floss, gold, and silver 'tilla' work were used to make her wedding ensemble. Renaissance embroidery is the technique of using metal threads, pearls, and beads to create a flowery lehenga. Her wedding lehenga was completed in 32 days by 67 karigars.

Karishma Tanna

Bigg Boss fame Karishma Tanna donned a stunning soft pink lehenga by the fashion label Falguni Shane Peacock, ditching the traditional red lehenga. A full-sleeved blouse and a stunning skirt were combined with a dupatta with feathery hem embellishments. Throughout, it was embroidered and ornately decorated. She accessorized her look with Tyaani jewellery's bridal set that included an intricate matha patti, a choker, haar, haath phool, bangles, and statement rings. Her bridal shoes were from Needle Dust.
