Taapsee Pannu Biography

Taapsee Pannu (Pannu) is an Indian actress and has worked in Telugu, Malyalam and Hindi Film Industry. She was born on August 1, 1987 in a Punjabi-Sikh Family who lived in Delhi. Before coming to the industry Taapsee Pannu worked as a software professional and then as a model. She has a sister named Shagun. She was schooled at Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar, Delhi. She got an engineering degree in computer science from the Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, New Delhi. Taapasee has created an application for iPhone named Fontswap. She did many ads for brands like Motorola, Coca Cola, Pantaloon, Dabur, Airtel, Tata Docomo etc and won titles such as "Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face" and "Saif Femina Beautiful Skin" in Femina Miss India Contest, 2008. Taapsee Pannu debuted in Telugu Films with the movie 'Jhummandi Naadam' (2010) after which she worked in several Telugu movies. She has also worked in Malyalam movies. She participated in Channel V show 'Get Gorgeous'.

Taapasee, the young talent is set to debut in Bollywood with David Dhawan 's 'Chashme Baddoor ' a remake of 1981 hit Hindi comedy film with the same name. She will accompany Ali Zafar and Siddharth in the movie.
