Sunny Leone Biography

Sunny Leone was born on May 13, 1981, as Karenjit Kaur Vohra in a Sikh family residing in Canada, with an Indian origin. She was studying to be a pediatric nurse, but eventually turned out being a porn star and now a Bollywood actress. She is known to be a strong-headed and independent person by nature.

Coming from a conservative family, she had different plans. But her life turned out to be such where she picked up fame and money by landing up at modeling assignments. She started her career by the name Sunny Leone. She posed for Penthouse Magazine and was named as 'Penthouse Pet Of The Month' for march 2001 issue. She has also modeled in other magazines, namely, Cheri, Mystique Magazine, High Society, Swank, AVN Online, Leg World, Club International and Lowrider, while her online credits include ModFX Models, Suze Randall, Ken Marcus and Mac & Bumble.

From modeling career, she gradually switched to pornographic industry, thereby signing contract with the production company, Vivid Entertainment and continued featuring in numerous movies.

In 2011, Sunny featured in a television reality show, 'Bigg Boss' season 5. During her stay in Bigg Boss house, she was approached by the ace director Mahesh Bhatt for the lead role in the movie, 'Jism 2'. Because of her bold personality, she has grabbed number of popular projects, like doing an item number in the crime-thriller 'Shootout At Wadala' and the lead role in the movies like 'Ragini MMS - 2', 'Jackpot' and 'Tina and Lolo'.

Sunny Leone is married to Daniel Weber. Her favorite past-time activities are abstract painting, horse riding, reading and playing World of Warcraft. She has also played for Women Soccer League Team in California. Her favorite holiday destination is Hawaii.
