Srikanth Biography

Srikanth is a well known actor in the south Indian film industry. Srikanth is a renowned Tamil actor who is best remembered in the films like 'Roja Kootam' and 'Parthiban Kanavu'. Srikanth Krishnamchari was born on 28th February 1979 in Tamil Nadu. His father's name is Krishnamachari, who is an actor and his mother's name is Jayanthi. His parents always encouraged and supported him to choose his career in the field of acting. Srikanth studied at SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School in Chennai. Famous actor Arya is Srikanth's batchmate from the school. Srikanth did his graduation from Hindustan College of Arts and Science in Chennai. The south star got married to a Telugu girl named Vandana in 2007. The couple has two children, a boy named Aahil and a girl named Ahana.

Srikanth made his acting debut with a Tamil film by Sasi named 'Roja Kootam' with Bhumika Chawla. The film was a romantic drama and got a huge commercial success. After a successful debut film, Srikanth was starred in 'April Madhathil' opposite Sneha. Srikanth received the Tamil Nadu State Film Special Award for his outstanding performance in the film 'Parthiban Kanavu'. The movie was directed by Karu Pazhaniappan.

In 2004, Srikanth was paired with Sneha in 'Bose'. In 2007, He was seen in 'Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule'. The movie received highly positive reviews and was declared a hit. This was Srikanth's first Telugu venture. In 2008, he was seen in 'Poo' which was directed by Sasi. Srikanth was next featured in a flick named 'Police Police'. The talented actor appeared in 'Sadhurangam' in 2011. The movie received the mixed reviews. It was completed in 2006 but delayed for 5 years to release.

Srikanth was seen in a comic caper 'Nanban' in 2012. The movie was made by Shankar. The movie which starred big stars like Jiva, Vijay and Ileana D'cruz, received lots of accolades and critical acclaim for its rich content.
