Sonal Chauhan Biography

The bold and beautiful Jannat girl Sonal Chauhan is a thread of the royal family. She originates from the royal Chauhan Rajput family from Manipuri. She is a daughter of a Police Inspector born on 16th May 1985 in the Muzzafarnagar the state of Uttar Pradesh. She has total 3 siblings. One brother who is older than her and two younger sisters.

The cute actress was passionate about the fashion industry and modeling since her school days. So after finishing her schooling from Delhi Public School and getting the honors degree in Philosophy from Gargi College from New Delhi, she started her career in modeling. Gorgeous Sonal was the first Indian to win Miss World Tourism title. She won this title in the year 2005 in the beauty pageant which was held at Miri , Malaysia.

After that, she got a chance to work in many print and electronic commercial advertisements. We have seen her in the commercials of Nokia and Ponds. She has walked on the ramp as well. Then she got a chance to appear in Himesh Reshammiya's famous music album 'Aap Kaa Surroor' . After watching her in this album, famous director Kunal Deshmukh cast her in his directorial venture 'Jannat' opposite Emraan Hashmi.

After the release of 'Jannat' she got a very much appreciation from everybody for her outstanding performance in the film. She has got nominations for awards too. This lead her to act in various south Indian films. Her Hindi films include 'Pehla Sitara' and 'Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap'.

Currently she is looking forward to her next release '3G' directed by Sheershak Anand and Shantanu Ray Chhibber opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh.
