Soha Ali Khan Biography

This baby-faced actress acts in Hindi films. She became a famous face since her role in blockbuster 'Rang De Basanti' in the year 2006. Soha Ali Khan is the loving daughter of late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and yesteryears' noted actress Sharmila Tagore. Soha is the younger sister of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The cute actress was born on 4th October, 1978 in New Delhi. She belongs to Nawab of Pataudi family. The heroine comes from a mixed heritage from her parents; her father was a Muslim, while her mother is a Bengali. Soha's elder sister, Saba Ali Khan is a jewellery designer.

Soha Ali Khan studied at New Delhi based The British School. Soha was the student of Balliol College, Oxford University. She holds a Masters degree from London School of Economics and Political Science in the subject of International Relations. Earlier, Soha used to work for Citibank and Ford Foundation. Apart from acting, Soha Ali Khan modeled recently for spring-summer collection of one of the Indian chain of boutiques named as Globus.

The royal actress stepped in the glitzy world of Bollywood with the movie 'Dil Maange More' in the year 2004. Soha gave credits to her co-stars like Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Tulip Joshi. She worked with two Bengali films called as 'Antarmahal' (2005) and 'Iti Srikanta' (2004). Though the film 'Khoya Khoya Chand' (2007) performed poorly at the box-office, the film gained Soha critical acclaim. Same thing happened with her movie 'Tum Mile' opposite Emraan Hashmi in the year 2009. Albeit, the film could not please the box-office to much extent, Soha managed to get thumbs ups for her excellent performance in the movie.
