    Shoojit Sircar Biography

    Shoojit Sircar is a well known film director and producer as well. He has directed the film 'Yahaan' in 2005 starring Jimmy Shergill and Minissha Lamba. His recent film is 'Vicky Donor' which was released in 2012 starring Ayushman Khurana and Yami Gautam. Shoojit has produced one film named as Aparajita Tumi in 2012. The talented director has won the Indian Competition Special Jury Award for the film 'Yahaan'. The director is currently busy in making a documentary on legendary Amitabh Bachchan. He in collaboration with the Rising Sun Films produced the commercial advertisements for Reliance 2G,Saffola, Fair & Lovely, Cadbury, Maruti Wagon R, Dove , Apsara Pencils and many other brands.

    Shoojit's 'Vicky Donor' was a huge success at the box office. The movie got lots of accolades from critics and viewers. Shoojit's next projects are 'Shoebite' with starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sarika, Dia Mirza and 'Hamara Bajaj' with again Ayushman Khurana and Yami Gautam.
