Riteish Deshmukh Biography

Riteish Deshmukh is famous in today's young generation. Son of a famous political leader , late Vilasrao Deshmukh, Riteish has become successful in creating his niche in the Hindi film industry. Born on 17th December 1978 , Riteish is married to his long time love actress Genelia D'Souza. The handsome actor was a film freak since his childhood. The talented actor has a degree in architecture. Besides films, the actor is too passionate about interior designs and architecture. He got a degree in architecture from the Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental studies. After getting his degree, he went to overseas for one year and worked with a firm. But after one year he came back to India and then decided to take acting career. But still he works in a designing sector, His own one company named as Evolutions which is an architectural and interior designing firm. Besides working in Hindi, Riteish owns a production house which is going to produce a Marathi film soon.

The cute and smart looking actor began his career through the film 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' opposite Genelia D'Souza. He got a huge fan following by this film. Then he acted in the films like 'Out of Control','Kyaa Kool Hai Hum','Masti' etc. The films got a moderate success but Riteish's performance was appreciated.

Later he appeared in many films like 'Malamaal Weekly','Darna Zaroori Hai','Apna Sapna Money Money' and 'Bluffmaster'. He made a small appearance in the film 'Bardaasht' and 'Namastey London'. He was also seen in 'Cash' which was a hit film. He got a real fame through Sajid Khan's 'Heyy Babyy' in this film he showed his acting mettle too. The film was a box office hit. He has appeared in 'Dhamaal' which was also an average hit.

But his films 'De Taali' and 'Chamku' were declared a flop. Even the multistarer film 'Aladin' in which he appeared with Amitabh Bachchan and Jacqueline Fernandez, was a flop at the box office. He then appeared in 'Rann' and 'Do knot Disturb' both were multi starer films and were average.

He again got into the news with Sajid Khan's comedy flick 'Housefull' and later in 'Housefull 2'. Both were hit and people loved Riteish's performance in these films. His next films 'Double Dhamaal' and 'F.A.L.T.U' were also a success at the box office.

The charming actor's recent releases are 'Love Breakups Zindagi' in which he made a guest appearance, 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' was average , 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' with his real wife Genelia was also an average hit and 'Housefull 2' was a blockbuster at the box office.

Currently Riteish is busy in his following projects, 'Grand Masti','Filmy Picture','Total Dhamaal','Dostana 2','Saamna' and 'Idhar Udhar'. The talented actor has bagged many awards for his splendid comedy performance and acting in his movies. The determined actor is all set to rock the silver screen with more great performances to come.
