    Reena Kapoor Biography

    Reena Kapoor is a television actress who is popularly known as Rani of Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki aired on Sahara One.

    Basics

    Reena Kapoor was born on 18th March to a Punjabi family. Her father and brother are in the Merchant Navy. She is wed to Karan a software engineer who works at HCL Technologies, Noida.

    Career

    Sshe acted in a number of famous TV shows namely Ganga Maiya aired on DD, Dekho Magar Pyar Se, and Saira Bano's Kisse Apna Kahein. But Reena rose to fame only after acting for Rajshri Production's Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon. She plays the lead character Rani opposite actor Karan Grover. It is the story of a rich girl who gets wed to a poor guy and her journey in life. This show is a big hit and brought her a lot of popularity.

    She appeared as a hotel receptionist in Kumar Bhatia's Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge (1998) and played a minor role in the comedy flick Duplicate Sholay(2002). Reena played Preity Zinta's best friend in Kundan Shah's Kya Kehna(2000).
