The young , sensuous and bold actress Paoli Dam made the world to know her even before her first film released in the Bollywood. Paoli started her career through a Bengali serial 'Tithir Atithi'. Then she made a debut in Bengali films through the film 'Agnipariksha' in the year 2006. Over the years, the sexy actress has worked in more than a dozen Bengali films. Today, she is a known actress in the Bengali film industry. Born on 4th October 1980, the stunning beauty is a post graduate in Chemistry. Paoli originates from a Bengali Hindu family. She did her schooling from Loreto School and then went to Vidyasagar college in Kolkata for bachelors degree and then she attended Rajabazar Science College for getting a masters degree in chemistry. The talented actress has worked with Bengali maestros like Rituparno Ghosh and Gautam Ghose. Her most appreciated role in Bengali is from the film 'Kalbeela'.

Paoli made her debut in Hindi through the thriller film 'Hate Story'. She captured everybody's eyes for her bold look in the film. Her next release will be Vikram Bhatt's 'Ankur Arora Murder Case' which is directed by Suhail Tatari. She will be playing a role of the lawyer in this film.
