Neetu Chandra Biography

Indian model, actress and a martial artist Neetu Chandra is a famous face of Bollywood. She was born in Patna, Bihar on 20th June 1984. Neetu was a student of Notre Dame Academy in Patna and passed out out in 1997. She always aspired to be a model, having a great fascination towards modeling world. Neetu has her parents and a sister in her family. Her father is a businessman. He was initially hesitant to let Neetu pursue a career in modeling. It was her mother who encouraged Neetu to follow her interest and make her dreams turn into reality. Undeniably, Neetu gives the whole credit of success to her mother.

The 5'7" tall actress performed various advertisements for reputed brands and she was also a part of videos. At that time, Neetu was completing her graduation from IP College in Delhi.

Prior to stepping in film industry, Neetu was a devoted sportsperson. Neetu holds a Black Belt in martial arts (Taekwondo) and received 4th Dan in Korean Embassy in Delhi. Neetu globally represented India in 1996 in Hong Kong in International Taekwondo Championship and in 1995 in World Kofrball Championship in Delhi. In Taekwondo, she won National games Silver Medal.

It was her perseverance and hard work that helped Neetu to climb the ladder of success in film industry. Neetu has left an unforgettable impression because of her great acting talent. She appeared in various Hindi and Tamil films. She got her first chance to act in Hindi movies with 'Garam Masala'. Apart from it, the actress acted in 'Traffic Signal', 'Summer 2007', 'One Two Three', 'Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!', 'Apartment', 'Rann', '13B', 'Mumbai Cutting', and 'Kucch Luv Jaisaa'. The Tamil flicks by Neetu are 'Yavarum Nalam', 'Yudhham Sei', 'Settai', and 'Ameerin Aadhi Baghavan', while her Telugu films include 'Godavari', 'Satyameva Jeyathe' and 'Vishnu'.

The Hindi upcoming films of Neetu Chandra are 'Shooter' and 'Kusar Prasad Ka Bhoot'. She produced one of the Bhojpuri film titled 'Deswa'. She will also be a part of one of the Greek movie named 'Home Sweet Home'.
