Kim Sharma Biography

Kim Sharma aka Kim Sharma is a model and actress who came into the limelight after she appeared in YRF's 'Mohabbatein'. She was born on 21st January 1980 in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. Her father was a businessman and her mother was a homemaker. Kim is a cousin sister of actor Arjun Rampal. Kim has three sisters. She went to St. Joseph's Convent in Panchgani. After finishing her school education, she returned to her hometown and enrolled herself in the Junior college. But soon she left the college to pursue the career in modeling when she was in 12th standard. It is reported that Kim was dating cricketer Yuvraj Singh for a while but eventually they broke up.

Kim auditioned for Close-up toothpaste when she was on a trip to Mumbai and got selected. After that, she did modeling for many brands like Pepsi, Sunsilk, Tata Safari, Ponds, Fair & Lovely, Liril and Clean-n-Clear. She is a brand ambassador for 'Olay' in India.

Director Aditya Sharma noticed Kim and signed her for his multistarer film 'Mohabbatein'. The film got other newcomers like Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Jimmy Shergill, Shamita Shetty and Preeti Jhangiani. The film was a huge box office success and boosted Kim's career in the industry.

Kim later acted in some films which were not successful at the box office. She did some south Indian films too. Some of the films in which Kim was seen are 'Tum Se Achcha Kaun Hain' ,'Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar' ,'Fida' ,'Yakeen' ,'Tom Dick And Harry' ,'Zindaggi Rocks' ,'Money Hain To Honey Hain' ,'Deshdrohi' and 'Loot' etc.
