Gautham Menon Biography

Gautham Menon or Gautham Vasudev Menon is a well known Indian producer and director. He mainly works in the south Indian industry. Many of his films got a lot of critical accolades. And his one film 'Vaaranam Aayiram' has won the national film award. He releases films under Photon Kathaas film company. He was born on 25th February 1973 in Ottapalam in Kerala. His father is a Malayali while his mother is Tamil. He was brought up in Tamil Nadu. He went to Vailankanni Raj Mata Hr. Sec School and got the degree in mechanical engineering from Mookambigai College of Engineering.

He has contributed to the film industry since 2001. His first film was 'Minnale' in 2001. He debuted in Hindi with the film 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein' with R. Madhavan and Dia Mirza. The film was not successful at the box office but it got rave reviews from critics. He has given many classics to the Tamil and Telugu film industry. He has got many awards and nominations for his films. His upcoming Hindi film is 'Assi Nabbe Poorey Sau' starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. It will be released this year.
