    Gauhar Khan Biography

    Gauhar Khan is a well known actress, model and VJ. She was born on 23rd August 1980 in Pune. Actress Nigar Khan is her sister. Gauhar went to Mount Carmel Convent School in Pune. She started her career as a model and did many commercial advertisements. She is a third runner up of Femina Miss India beauty pageant in 2002. She has also represented India in Miss International contest. Gauhar was a top fashion model during the years 2002 to 2006.

    Later she started appearing on the small screen in many music videos and did a show Page 3 on Zoom Television.She also appeared on another television show 'The Khan Sisters' with her sister Nigar Khan. Recently she was seen as a participant in a dance reality show named as 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 5'.

    Gauhar started her Bollywood career with the film 'Miss India: The Mystery' in 2003. She has done some item dance numbers in the films like 'Aan' , 'Ishaqzaade' and 'Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai'. She acted in the films like 'Rocket Singh - Salesman Of The Year' and 'Game'. Gauhar has appeared in Bollywood's first ever musical Zangoora: The Gypsy Prince opposite Hussain Kuwajerwala.
