    Darshan Jariwala Biography

    Darshan Jariwala is an Indian actor featuring in films, television and theatre. Born on 29th September 1957 in Mumbai, he is the son of Gujarati actress Leela Jariwala. He is most popular for his character role in Gujarati TV serial 'Narsinh Mehta', where he played the lead role of a saint and devotee of Lord Krishna. Also, his noteworthy performance of Mahatma Gandhi in the film 'Gandhi My Father' has earned him international recognition.

    Darshan entered in Bollywood with a small role in the film 'Paagalpan' and thereafter he went on featuring in number of films like 'Style', 'Guru', 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd', 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', 'Raajneeti', 'Kahaani', 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' and many other films.

    On the personal front, Darshan is married to actress Apara Mehta and has one daughter from her.
