Ayushman Khurana Biography

Vicky Donor a.k.a Ayushman Khurana is a hardcore Punjabi Munda. Born on 14th September 1984 in Chandigarh, Ayushman is a multitalented guy. The brilliant guy is a television anchor, a very good singer and a skilled actor as well. Ayushman's parents P. Khurana and Poonam Khurana are from a very decent background. His father is a well-known astrologer and an author of astrology books while his mother is a well educated housewife. Ayushman's brother Aparshakti is a RJ in Delhi. The talented actor is married to his long time love Tahira Kashyap who is a writer by profession.

The cool dude went to St. John's High School and then in DAV college in Chandigarh for his studies. His major subject was English literature and then Ayushman did his masters in Mass Communication from School of Communication Studies in Chandigarh. When he was in college, he was an active member of a theatre group for almost 5 years. He is also a founder of 2 theatre groups Manchtantra and Aaghaaz in his college. He has won many prizes in the renowned national fests by conceptualizing and acting in street plays.

Ayushman started his career after winning the second season of MTV Roadies. When he took a part in Rodies, he was working as an RJ at Big FM in Delhi. His show was very popular amongst listeners. He has won the Young Achievers award for the same in the year 2007. After winning Rodies, the talented actor started working as a VJ on MTV. He has also worked in MTV fully Faltoo movies. Then he anchored many reality shows like 'India's Got Talent','Stripped','Music ka Maha Muqqabla', 'Just Dance' etc. He has also co-anchored 'Extra Innings T20 for Indian Premiere League Season 3' with many other anchors.

He made his debut in Bollywood through Shoojit Sircar's romantic comedy 'Vicky Donor' with the newbie Yami Gautam.John Abraham had produced this movie. Ayushman has sung one song also in this movie. The song and the movie as well got an enormous response from the audience and the critics. People loved Ayushman in this movie. He got 2 Filmfare awards for this film for the best male playback singer and for the best male debut.

Currently, a writer by hobby Ayushman is looking forward for the release of his upcoming movie 'Nautanki Saala!' directed by Rohan Sippy and has a star cast like Kunaal Roy Kapur,Evelyn Sharma and Pooja Salvi. He will also be seen in the film 'Hamara Bajaj' and Yash Raj Films' untitled project
