    Arun Govil Biography

    Arun Govil is an actor from the 80s whose most popular performance was as Ram in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan.

    After Ramayan he acted in a number of films and television serials.

    Television

    In Vikram Aur Betaal, Arun Govil played a character named Vikramaditya and in Vishwamitra he was seen as Raja Harishchandra. He beside acted inserials like Aaparajita and Luv Kush. In Mohini Virendra's TV serial Ek Bhool, Arun was seen with actress Sarika.

    Films

    Arun beside did a lead role in the film Sawan Ko Aane Do by Rajshri Productions. His co-stars in this film were Zarina Wahab, Rita Bhaduri and Amrish Puri in this film. In a number of films he has played minor roles. Some of these filmsare: Raadha Aur Seeta (1979), Ram Tera Desh (1984) and Do Dilon Ki Dastaan (1985).

    In the Govinda starrer Hathkadi (1995), Arun played Govinda's brother and he was seen as Inspector Deodhar in the action flick Dhaal: The Battle of Law Against Law (1997) starring Vinod Khanna, Sunil Shetty and Amrish Puri.
