Anushka Sharma Biography

The tall leggy lass of Bollywood Anushka Sharma is a new heartthrob of today's young men. Coming from an Army Background, she has established herself in the tinsel town in very less time and so well that today she is considered as one of the leading ladies of the B-Town. Always in on and off relationship with her co-actor Ranveer Singh, the damsel is considered as a girl with a golden destiny as she got her first break in YRF films opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

Anushka is the daughter of the Army man Col. Ajay Kumar Sharma and the housewife Ashima Sharma born on 1st May 1988 in Bengaluru. She has studied in in the Army School and later joined Mount Carmel College to get a bachelors degree in Arts. After finishing her education she enrolled herself in Elite Modelling Agency where famous style expert Prasad Bidapa groomed her and helped her in improving her looks, style and lifestyle too. Prasad Bidapa know her since she was just a teenager.

Later, gorgeous Anushka walked on ramps in Les Vamps show and in the Lakme India Fashion Week in the year 2007. Simultaneously she appeared in many television commercial advertisements like Whisper, Fiat Palio, and Silk & Shine.

Charming girl Anushka got her first golden chance in Aditya Chopra's blockbuster 'Rab ne Bana Di Jodi' with Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. The film got a huge success and Anushka got very much appreciation for her role of 'Tani' in this film. She got a critical acclaim also. Later she has worked in many films like 'Badmaash Company','Band Baaja Baaraat','Patiala House','Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl', and recently 'Jab Tak hai Jaan'.

In her total filmy career, she has got a chance to work with big banners and big stars. She always uses her opportunities well and gets praise from everybody out there. Even in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Matru ki Bijlee ka Mandola' she has managed to impress everybody with her outstanding performance in this film. This film was also considered as a hit. But Anushka says it's still a long way to go.

Currently she is busy with her new projects like 'Bombay Velvet' by Anurag Kashyap and and 'PK' by Rajkumar Hirani also starring Mr. Perfect Aamir Khan.
