    Abhinay Deo Biography

    Abhinay Deo is a film director who was previously a commercial director. He is a younger son of yesteryears veteran actors Ramesh Deo and Seema Deo. He has a degree in architecture. His elder brother Ajinkya Deo is a well known actor in Marathi movies. He was born and brought up in Mumbai.

    Abhinay's debut film was 'Game' in 2011 starring Abhishek Bachchan, Jimmy Shergill and Boman Irani. It was produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The film was a huge financial failure and was unsuccessful at the box office. His next was 'Delhi Belly' starring Imraan Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Vir Das. The film was produced by Aamir Khan Productions. It was released in 2011 and got a good response from the critics as well as audiences. People loved this unique kind of film and its music. Abhinay has got the prestigious Filmfare award for the best debut director for 'Delhi Belly'.
