Kapil Sharma's sense of humor has enthralled audiences all around the world. Millions of people have been inspired by Kapil's journey from reality comedy show participant to hosting his own show and then shining on the big screen. The comedian recently made his singing debut with the song "Alone," which he co-wrote with Guru Randhawa.

We recently saw the debut of his major film, 'Zwigato,' in theatres. Nandita Das's 'Zwigato' was released on Friday, along with Rani Mukerji's 'Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway' and 'Kabzaa'. While the film received positive reviews and made headlines due to Kapil's presence, it failed to perform well at the box office.

‘Zwigato’ Collections

The movie has performed decently at the box office. According to trade reports, Nandita Das' directorial endeavour earned only Rs 0.25 crores on Day 4, bringing the film's total collection to Rs 2.09. But, with positive word of mouth, the film is projected to grow during the weekend. On Monday, March 20, 2023, Zwigato had an overall Hindi occupancy of 5.28 percent.

About ‘Zwigato’

The story is set in Bhubaneshwar and revolves around Manas (Kapil Sharma) and his wife Pratima (Shahana Goswami) and how they maintain their body and spirit together to survive the financial crisis. The film is Nandita Das' intelligent take on the gig economy, depicting the plight of a migrant couple in the post-Covid era.
