‘Fukrey Returns’, the year’s last comedy film, did a great business in the first 2 weeks and emerged as superhit. In its two weeks’ run, the movie collected Rs. 73.81 crores and turned out to be the third most profitable film of 2017. But the challenge came in its third week when it faced Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ at the box office. Despite having a massive release ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in the competition, Fukrey Returns earned a respectable amount of Rs. 3.59 crores in its week 3 and took the grand total to Rs. 77.40 crores.
