Suresh Triveni ’s directorial Tumhari Sulu has been performing well at the box-office front. The movie that was made on a tight budget is already sailing in profits. The film has been loved by the audience and appreciated by the critics. The slice of life comedy-drama stars Vidya Balan as Sulu, a fun-loving housewife who becomes a late-night RJ, actor Manav Kaul plays Vidya’s husband and Neha Dhupia as her boss. RJ Malishka makes her debut with this movie.

In the first week of its release, the film made Rs. 19.78 crores. It further made Rs. 1.25 cores on second Friday, Rs. 2.35 crores on Saturday and Rs. 2.81 crores on Sunday (Weekend 2). On its second Monday, the film witnessed a drop and collected Rs. 82 lakhs. Hence the total collection stands at Rs. 27.01 crores at the domestic box-office front.
