Tumhari Sulu has been receiving an immense response from the audience and critics alike. The movie is a slice of life comedy drama starring Vidya Balan as a happy go lucky housewife named Sulu and Manav Kaul stars as her Husband along with Neha Dhupia as her boss. RJ Malishka makes her debut with this movie, she essays the role of an RJ in the film. The movie was made on a tight budget of 17 crores and has recovered a majority of it via pre-sales rights. Also, the film is performing well at the box-office front.

In the first week of its release, the film made Rs. 19.78 crores. It further made Rs. 1.25 cores on second Friday, Rs. 2.35 crores on Saturday and Rs. 2.81 crores on Sunday (Weekend 2). The film collected Rs. 82 lakhs on Monday and Rs.81 lakhs on Tuesday (Week 2). Hence the total collection stands at Rs. 27.82 crores at the domestic box-office front.
