Vidya Balan starrer film Tumhari Sulu has proven to be one of the sleeper hits of 2017. It has a strong plot and execution by director Suresh Triveni is remarkable. Actors Manav Kaul , Neha Dhupia and RJ Malishka that play key roles support the story brilliantly along with Vidya Balan being the heart of the film as the endearing Sulu.

In the second week, the film made Rs. 1.25 cores on Friday, Rs. 2.35 crores on Saturday and Rs. 2.81 crores on Sunday (Weekend 2). The film collected Rs. 82 lakhs on Monday, Rs.81 lakhs on Tuesday, Rs. Rs.72 lakhs on Wednesday and Rs. 73 lakhs on Thursday (Week 2). Hence the total collection stands at Rs. 29.27 crores at the domestic box-office front.

The movie was made on a tight budget of 17 crores and has recovered the majority of it via pre-sales rights. Hence, the film is currently sailing in profits.
